After five years, Danna finally finished her MBA. She wanted a low key bar night, but instead I gathered up all the people she invited to the bar, multiplied by several more, and had them all surprise her at our house when she got back from her last final.

Dad popped in for surgery at 7:00 in the morning, and by 11:00 he was done and walking. Three hours, and a small three inch incision in his thigh was the only evidence of a new titanium hip lurking below his skin. I'm amazed that something as complicated as a complete hip replacement isn't more invasive.
