Harmless Havoc is about surviving and growing as a family, surrounded by the daily havoc caused by children growing up and parents who are perhaps too busy for their own good.

Harmless Havoc is Danna, Brian, Cole and two cats named Maui and Runner.  We live in Seattle but love to travel.  We've been to lots of places.  We once considered ourselves very organized and generally on top of things.  That all changed in 2006.

Cole was born in February 2006.  We love him dearly and couldn't imagine life without him.  But man, is he surrounded by havoc and chaos.  We now see the world through a slightly different lens than before.  A lens that has no concept of how far away "tomorrow" is and that sees good and evil in completely black and white terms.

This blog isn't about Cole, although he frequently plays a prominent role.  This blog is about surviving and growing as a family, surrounded by the daily havoc caused by children growing up and parents who are perhaps too busy for their own good. Enjoy.

Danna spends her time hosting a podcast called The Career Cue. Brian spends his time writing code for the Xbox and drumming for Squirrel of Shame.
