We just can't leave our house well enough alone. This time, it's getting a new coat of paint. With all the scaffolding around the house it's a perfect time to have a party.

Fred had a wonderful fire and meat party over the memorial day weekend. Both fire and meat get a smiling thumbs up! Kudos to Robert for cooking quite a lot of professional-grade barbeque.

I should have known when I got the mail from Eric that this was no ordinary wine binging opportunity. Eric has a way of picking out only the most distinguished of events. Thanks to his deep connections, we soon had tickets for the event of the century: the Washington Wine Expo at the Seahawks Exibition Center. This is an annual event that showcases Washington wines paired with food from many local resturaunts. The event lasts from 6:00 - 10:00, but if you pay for the special VIP tickets, you can get in two hours early. Naturally, we sprung for the extra tickets. And a cab ride home.
